This 30-mile dirt road drive is a favorite among locals because of the beautiful views of this canyon to the south and the Duck Creek basin to the north. At 13,063-feet, it is the second highest peak in Nevada. The Wheeler Peak Campground at approx. 10,000-feet is accessible by a narrow winding road and this view greets travelers as they make the last turn.
